Kay started Ageless Placements, Inc. in 1992 because
of an identified need to provide non-medical services
to a substantial aging population --
seniors living alone that were at risk for falls
and other accidents, medication errors, and mental
stress due to isolation and lonliness.
Paula's
business concept initially included a "Safeguard
Visit" with five objectives accomplished
during a 20 minute appointment.
As more and more needs of this population were
identified, Paula expanded her business to include
a variety of additional non-medical services.
Within six years, her company had grown from a
kitchen table to an office with 65 employees that
helped 100-120 seniors with small tasks ranging
from safety checks, to companionship, providing
light housekeeping, meal preparation, and running
errands. Many of her staff were active retirees
that enjoyed working as well as the ability to
supplement their income. By Paula's six year,
her St. Petersburg, Florida company generated
a gross annual revenue of $350,000.
Paula

twelve years Paula decided to semi-retire and
